SPONSOR Digicel is encouraging Guyanese to rally around the West Indies, as they take on Pakistan at the Guyana National Stadium in three One Day Internationals (ODIs).
The two teams will face off on April 7, 9 and 11 and it’s Digicel hope that Providence facility will be filled with cricket-loving fans each day.
To Digicel’s credit, the cellular service provider has several activities planned this week to ensure cricket fans win a chance to meet the West Indies team and be their special guest on match-days.
Digicel’s Communications Manager Vidya Sanichara explained that cricket fans should stay tuned to their (Digicel) Facebook page for chances to win free tickets, adding. “We also have our fan-of-the-match award, just like we did in the CPL; so the more creative you are, the more chances you have to win.”
