The Alliance For Change has made undisclosed monetary donations to four fire victims who suffered significant losses in a recent blaze in Kitty, Georgetown.

The party made the donations as part of its AFC Cares programme, a release from the AFC said. The four recipients are: Faudia Sarwan, Richard Singh, Kurt Lachish and Althea Soloman.

The donations were presented by Leader Raphael Trotman at the party’s Centre For Change headquarters, also located in Kitty. Trotman expressed sadness on behalf of the party for the losses suffered and the difficulties being experienced but was thankful that no life was lost in the early morning fire at the corner of Sandy Babb and Owen streets which left ten persons homeless.

The party hopes that the contributions will assist the victims in the process of returning to a state of normalcy after the devastating losses of their homes and personal belongings. The recipients expressed gratitude and thanked the party for the kind gesture.
