CABINET on Friday announced the approval of contracts by the varying procurement entities and the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), including the award of $143,722,000 to Samaroo Investment for the construction of river defence along the Pomeroon River.Additionally, contracts were awarded for the procurement of two water tenders and two ambulances for the Guyana Fire Service, to Angloco limited in the sum $30, 487,000 while, two contracts were awarded for consultancy services to the Ministry of Finance to the tune of US$306,000.

For the Consultancy services for Management Information System upgrade at Ministry of Finance a contract in the sum of US$156,000 was awarded to Patrick Anthony Farnum, while for consultancy services to strengthen the link between the planning and budgeting process at the Ministry of Finance, a contract in the sum of US$`150,000 was awarded to IDEA Institute.
