Buzzing this weekend

MASHRAMANI may be over, but not so the soca and cultural festivities just yet, as you’ve still got a few events dotted across the weekend, including a “Mash Last Lap” fete. Another cultural stop will be the Rupununi Festival on Saturday. And where J’Ouvert left off with the water, colour and fun, Phagwah is going to take over, as celebrations for the March 12 holiday start off from as early as this weekend.
Today will be a pretty basic day, as things don’t really start getting hot and heavy until tomorrow! But to make up for that, the usually quiet Sunday is looking pretty eventful this weekend! So, here goes!
