AN Albouystown, Georgetown, resident was early Saturday morning arrested by police ranks for the unlawful possession of a firearm, ammunition and narcotics.
According to a police release, ranks acted on information and swooped down on the home of the 24-year-old at about 03:45hrs and carried out a search. They found a .45 pistol with five matching rounds and 125 grams of cannabis.
