The lifeless body of a man was on Monday afternoon discovered in a washroom at the busy Demico House outlet on Croal Street, Stabroek.Reports are that around 1700hrs on Monday, customers were awaiting their turn to use the washroom at the outlet near the Route 40 minibus park ,when persons realised the man had occupied the facility for a considerably long time.
Several customers told this publication that the man spends time daily at the outlet. One person noted that he may have suffered a seizure as some described him as “sickly”. The man’s body was removed by undertakers shortly after the discovery as customers continued their purchases and staff cleaned the sanitary facilities at the location.
