The men were transported by the third wanted person who drove a heavily tinted car.

Scott was killed at his Lot 291 Toucan Street, North-East La Penitence home, after attempting to render assistance to his sister Simone Scott and her friend Maureen Bristol.

The women were approaching the Toucan Street home when two men exited a car and snatched a gold chain off Simone Scott’s neck. One of the men who was armed with a gun cuffed Scott to her neck and as she was being cuffed, Bristol in an attempt to save her friend pulled a knife on the bandits.

Meanwhile, Scott (Jermain), who worked as a maintenance mechanic at Banks DIH’s rum factory had just closed up the family’s grocery shop around 10 pm and was paining the interior of the house when he heard the screams of his sister and her friend.

He rushed to their assistance and he was shot to his chest. The 26-year-old man was taken to the hospital, but died while receiving treatment. He had only gotten married to his long-time sweetheart less than a month ago and was expecting his first child.
