TOP judicial officers in the Caribbean, including the President of the Caribbean Court of Justice are here for a seminar with local state attorneys on the new civil procedure rules recently laid in the National Assembly.
The seminar will be held by the Attorney General Chambers and Ministry of Legal Affairs on Saturday at the Georgetown Club, Camp Street.
This sensitising training will be conducted by Legal Consultant Mr. Anthony Ross QC and Mr. Justice Courtney Abel from the Belize High Court. President of the CCJ, Sir Dennis Byron will also be here. Also here for the training are: Registrar, Jacqueline Graham; the Chairman of CCJ Trust Fund, Dr. Linton Lewis; Vice Chairman of the Trust Fund, Christine Sahadeo; Executive Officer of the Trust Fund, Glenn Cheong; and CCJ Trustees, Oswald Barnes and Ramesh Dookhoo.
