An act of bravery displayed by a female security guard attached to Instant Security Service (ISS) prevented two gunmen from entering the Hand-in-Hand Trust Corporation Inc. located on Middle Street, Georgetown at about 14:30h on Wednesday.
She reportedly observed when the two young men exited a motorcar and surmised that they were up to no good and as they were about to enter the building, she engaged them in a scuffle. This caused the robbers to abandon their mission but not before they discharged about three gunshots during which a passerby was wounded.
The bandits did not get to enter the building which was already closed for business for the day and as such nothing was taken since the bandits had to make a hasty retreat.
Sleuths reported that a firearm was found and two men were arrested while, they are looking for the car and two suspects.
