Dear Editor,

FROM an independent standpoint with research investigation, I was fed with the disappointing news that the once-advertised Guyana Visual Arts Photography Competition scheduled for the 2016 Jubilee Year is no longer happening.I wasn’t given a reason/s, but all I was told is that it is now scheduled for sometime in 2017.

Perhaps someone assigned as Communications Officer or Public Relations Officer from the Ministry of Culture,Youth and Sport/Castellani House/Burrowes School of Art can publicly make an official announcement via the press, because my independent contribution is un-official.
