A serial armed robber was on Monday morning arrested at his home by the police in Linden. They police also recovered an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

He has been identified as Eon Ward called “Killer” of Central Amelia’s Ward, Linden, who was recently sentenced in absentia for five years, for robbery under arms and unlawful possession of firearm and ammunition.
During the search of his house, ranks found an unlicensed 9mm Ruger semi-automatic pistol with seven matching rounds. Police reported that the 25-year-old will be charged for possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition before he commences his five year jail-term.
Police said that Ward is known to the police in Linden and they received a tip-off that he recently returned from Cayenne and went to his house. Ward’s father was killed several years ago in a confrontation with the police in Linden and his son began his criminal career as a teenager, who served time in prison before for similar offences.
