Two hijackers to face court today

TWO men who held a driver at gunpoint and relieved him of his car on Monday are expected to be charged today, police said.Reports revealed that the men were nabbed in the Alexander Village area on Tuesday afternoon with the stolen car. According to reports, the driver of the car had just stepped out of his vehicle on Monday afternoon to visit his mechanic in the city when the incident occurred.

After returning to his vehicle, he felt a gun pressed to his head and he was shoved aside as the two men grabbed his keys and made off with the vehicle. The driver made a report to the police.

Ranks then alerted stations within the city and the vehicle was spotted with the two bandits.
They were immediately arrested and the owner of the car was contacted and he positively identified the men.
