THE Caribbean Badminton International Championships (CAREBACO),currently playing in Aruba and which started on August 18, 2016 at the Centro Deportivo Sports Hall,continued on Saturday.The Guyanese players are into the Finals in the Mixed Doubles with Narayan Ramdhani & Priyanna Ramdhani;and the Boys Doubles with Narayan Ramdhani & Jonathan Mangra.
In the Boys and Girls Singles,both Narayan Ramdhani & Priyanna Ramdhani lost in the Semi-Finals and settled for Bronze Medals.
In the Boys Singles which saw-No. 1 Seeded player Narayan Ramdhani Vs. No. 3 Seeded player Cesar Adonis Brito Gonzalez of theDominican Republic,the Dominican took the first game at 21-18. Narayan then came back in the second game to win 19-21.Gonzalez then took the final game at 21-11.
In the Girls Singles-Priyanna Ramdhani Vs. Amanda Yearwood of Barbados;The Bajan took the first game at 21-14. Priyanna then took the second game at 13-21,and then lost the final game at 21-13
Boys Doubles result- Narayan Ramdhani & Jonathan Mangra defeated Jade Allman & Joshua Smith (Trinidad) in the semi-finals 21-11, 21-18,to reach the finals.
Mixed Doubles result- Narayan Ramdhani & Priyanna Ramdhani defeated Renaldo Sinanan & Jade Renales (Trinidad),21-8, 21-7 to reach the finals.
