One man is in police custody following the discovery of an illegal gun and ammunition in a Route 44 minibus.

According to a police release, at about 00:30h on Tuesday, police ranks on a mobile patrol acting on information received, intercepted and searched a route 44 zone mini bus on the Ogle Public Road, East Coast Demerara during which a.38 revolver with three matching rounds was found on a male occupant.
