THE Office of the Prime Minister has issued a message of condolence on the passing of Randolph George, former Anglican Bishop of Guyana, who passed on Monday last, saying that he was “a knowledgeable, soft-spoken and amicable leader of the Diocese.”“Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo wishes to express (condolences) to Mrs. Sheila George, the wife of former Bishop George, his four children – Gail, George, David and Christopher and to the entire Anglican community,” the Office of the Prime Minister stated.
The Prime Minister’s office noted that George served the Anglican community for twenty eight years (1980- 2008) and was bestowed with the Cacique Crown of Honour in 1994.
