Speaking with the Guyana Chronicle, Dyal, an aspiring medical doctor, said he was not surprised at the results since put in a lot of work and has always been a high achiever throughout his school life.
“I was in class when the teachers came and told me I topped the school and the region; I was excited and happy to hear that! I sacrificed all my games and television for my books, so I’m happy the hard work paid off.” Dyal will be attending Queen’s College come September.
The second of three siblings, Dyal said he has always received the support of his family and they have been very instrumental in his academic achievements. He also
