SOUTHLAND International Saturday launched a line of Mr Topper’s snacks here. The brand is the brainchild of Caribbean entrepreneur Alain Laquis, a snack connoisseur himself. He started selling delicious, crunchy caramel popcorn in a small kiosk at a Mall in Trinidad and Tobago in 2002.
The business took off and a range of other products were added.
Some of the tasty treats that will be showing up on your snack store shelves are Caramel popcorn, a delightful blend of sweet, crunchy caramel wrapped around kernels of freshly popped corn; frosted popcorn, with fruity flavours to tickle every sweet taste bud; Wigleez, with a tangy taste of the ever popular ketchup and fries; cheese Balls, fresh, crunchy and cheesy balls that will melt in your mouth and cheese Curls, that will throw you back to your childhood cheesy snacks.
