TCL GUYANA Inc. joined the group of more than ten companies which have tangibly shown their support for GuyExpo 2016, which will be held at the Exhibition Centre, Sophia.TCL on Tuesday presented a cheque for one million dollars to the organisers of the grand trade fair and exposition, demonstrating the commitment of private sector companies to the national event that is geared to showcase Guyanese products and services.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony in the Boardroom of the GuyExpo Secretariat, Mark Bender, Plant Manager of TCL Guyana Inc., praised the efforts of the organisers, while noting that his company is always pleased to support events such as GuyExpo.

Meanwhile, Holder-Alert, on behalf of the GuyExpo Committee, expressed gratitude to TCL Guyana Inc. for their significant support of the event.

GuyExpo 2016 is slated for today, Thursday, May 12 to Sunday, May 15, and will be held under the theme “50 Years, Guyana Means Business – Promoting Enterprise, Driving Productivity”.

This premier trade fair and exposition is organised by the Ministry of Business in collaboration with the Private Sector, and will give many local businesses, as well as foreign exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their products and services.

Thousands of persons who reside here, as well as those living abroad, who will be visiting Guyana for the Golden Jubilee celebrations are expected to flock the venue.
