What’s Buzzing this weekend

THIS weekend, there will be a full swing of activities to make up for last week’s lull. Take your pick. Or, if you’re feeling extra social, tek a taste of all of them! We don’t mind!
Here’s what’s buzzing this weekend.

TONIGHT

*704 is calling all ladies to get in formation at their Formation Party. All ladies are free before 23:00hrs, and everyone gets a complimentary glass of champagne at the door.
But it’s not just for the women. Men should also come and bask in the ambience of the ladies as they are celebrated in true diva fashion at this event.
TOMORROW

*Party high above all the rest at the ‘Elevation’ affair, the relaunch of the Aura Nightclub at  the Pegasus Hotel.
Aura intends to change the way we party in Guyana, by providing ambience that we have never seen before.
Doors open at 22:00hrs. Patrons will receive complimentary drinks upon entry, and enjoy drink specials all night.
If you’re looking to elevate yourself, this is certainly the place to be!

*Hits and Jams Entertainment presents Full Access at Palm Court.
Full access to what, you ask? Well, you’ll just have to go there and see!
But we can tell you that you’ll be entertained by the sounds of popular DJ Shizzle, as well as Selector Carl.

*Feel like partying like a star? Then attend Lights, Camera, Action, brought to you by Afrikan Vybz Entertainment.
This party features music from some of the “Great sound DJs, including Gully Ras, Afrikan Vybz and others.

*Feel like sending a special message to that certain someone? Then the Colorus party at the Gravity Lounge is the place to do it.
If you’re taken, wear red. Are you looking? Thgen wear Blue.
If you’re single and fine with it, wear green. But if it’s complicated, wear white. If you’re on a break from it all, wear yellow; but if you’re promiscuous and loving it, then pink is the colour for you!
Don’t miss the chance to come out and communicate with colours. Everyone free before 23:00hrs.

*And if you’re looking to spend an evening away from the party scene, and instead wish to indulge yourself in the arts, then the Cultural Centre is the place to be, as several of Guyana’s leading performers pay tribute to veteran broadcaster and theatre personality Ron Robinson on his 70th birthday.
Performances will be done by Lisa Punch, Kwasi Ace, Charmaine Blackman and many more.
Tickets are $3,000, $2,000 and $1,000. Moreover, it’s for a good cause; all proceeds from the show will be donated to charity.
