THE Guyana Police Force is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on the Reliance Public Road on the Essequibo Coast in Region Two on Saturday evening.A police press statement has said that at about 23:30hrs on Saturday, Dennis Persaud of La Belle Alliance, Essequibo Coast, was driving a motorcar along the Reliance Public Road when he lost control of the vehicle and ended up in an accident. The vehicle turned turtle and ended up in a nearby canal.

Persons who rendered Persaud assistance pulled him from the vehicle and rushed him to the Suddie Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police are investigating the incident.
