ALEX Bunbury’s football clinic in Linden attracted over 90 participants of all ages, including females, when the Guyanese/Canadian football legend visited the Mining Town yesterday. After successfully hosting clinics in Berbice, Georgetown and in his home-town Plaisance, the Canadian Hall-of-Fame forward took his team of coaches to Upper Demerara River community where he had the largest attendance of his previous clinics, at the Mackenzie Sports Club ground.
Meanwhile, Bunbury and several of his business partners, who all arrived in Guyana yesterday, will now be meeting with several Government officials, including President David Granger, to further discuss his proposed ‘Alex Bunbury Sports and Academics Academy’.
