Break-and-enter accused allowed bail

AN East Bank Demerara resident accused of breaking and entering to commit larceny was yesterday placed on $25,000 bail by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan. Dale Bobb, 39, of 1232 Diamond Housing Scheme, pleaded not guilty to the charge which alleged that on December 26, 2015, at Diamond Housing Scheme, he broke and entered the storage bond of Kevin Gonzales and stole six buckets, three spades, one shovel, four sacks of cement and a pound of nails, together valued at $35,000.

Police prosecutor Deniro Jones did not oppose bail, but informed the court that a sack of cement had been recovered.

The magistrate granted bail, adjourned the matter until January 22, and transferred it to the Providence Magistrate’s Court.
