Remanded for abusing Gilhuys

Twenty-year-old destitute woman Tamika Kennedy was yesterday remanded by City Magistrate Faith Mc Gusty in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court when she appeared to answer to three count of breach of the peace. It is alleged that she abused former Magistrate Gordon Gilhuys.The charges that were read to her stated that on December 1, 2015 at Hadfield Street, Werk-en-Rust, she used abusive language towards Gilhuys and also threatened him.
Following those charges, she behaved disorderly at the Brickdam Police Station. She pleaded not guilty to the charges and she was remanded until the December 17.
