Boxill, who is the licensed operator of Shell Service Stations around Guyana, announced that spending $3,000 on Shell V-Power or Diesel will entitle motorists to a coupon, which serves as the gateway to winning fabulous prizes. Here’s how to enter: for the weekly prizes: after receiving a coupon, simply text the coupon number, your licence number, and name to: 66SHELL (667-4355).
The weekly prizes include driving [on] free [gas] for up to one year; dinner for two at the Pegasus; flat-screen television sets; Samsung S6 cellular phones; and free fuel for one month.
For the grand prize draw, persons are required to fill out the coupon and drop it into the box at the service station.
The first prize is one year’s supply of free fuel; the second prize is six months’ supply of free fuel; while the third prize is three months’ supply of free fuel.
Also, for the duration of the promotion, until January 29, 2016, Shell customers spending $5,000 on fuel can have fun ‘Spinning the Wheel’ during weekly Happy Hours, to instantly win up to $50,000 in cash and other V-Power prizes, including water bottles, T-shirts, key chains and bags.
Noting that the promotion was the company’s way of rewarding motorists who are loyal Shell customers, Boxill said: “Our ‘Licence 2 Win’ promotion gives back to customers who are proud to be associated with using Shell’s high-performance fuels.”
Meanwhile, three lucky persons at the launch were given the opportunity to experience how it feels to be a winner. Their numbers were randomly pulled from ticket numbers presented to those witnessing the launch of the promotion.
Winners were: Marcey Parker of the National Communications Network (NCN), who won for herself thousands of dollars, and two employees of Royal Castle who had stopped by to purchase gas. One won $11,000, and the other a T-shirt.
