Talented junior middleweight Brian Muller secured his second victory over Albert Brown on November 20, 1982. Muller stopped the charge of Brown in the 13th round. A 28-year-old at the time, the southpaw Muller improved his record to 10-1-1 with six Knock Outs. Brown and Muller first met in May of the same yea. That bout ended with the former losing by point decision. Considered one of the best junior middleweight boxers to come out of Guyana, Muller locked horns with the best in the region.
After a stellar seven year career he walked away with only three defeats. Muller started professional boxing in February 1979 at the age of 24. The `Master of the Game’ would be remembered for epic battles against Reggie Ford, Mark Harris, and the legendary Lennox Beckles. Muller was undefeated in nine fights when he met Mark Harris for the second time.
The fight was held in December 1980 and Harris seized the opportunity to become the first and only Guyanese to defeat the southpaw when he won the 12-rounder by split decision. Muller, who now resides in Nevada, USA, ended with 20 wins (11 KOs) three defeats and one draw.
