THE penultimate night of the GT Beer Futsal Tournament will unravel tonight with the final four teams going head-to-head in the semi-finals at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH).In the first semi of the evening the rampant Bent Street will take on the undefeated Festival City squad. The winner of this showdown will await the winner of the other semi to contest the final.
As the curtain comes down Sparta Boss will battle West Front Road-Gold is Money in a battle of the unbeaten titans.
Also adding to the action for the night are the two exhibition matches. Green Ice Taxi Service clash with KC Cabs then a squad of popular National cricketers will oppose a Media squad
The competition continued on Sunday night with the quarterfinals where Bent Street eliminated Sophia 12-5, West Front Road sank West Back Road 5-3, Sparta Boss got past Weavers 6-5 and Festival City humbled Albouystown 6-3.
The Petra-organized event has a winning purse of $500 000 while the second-, third- and fourth-place finishers will cart off $250 000, $125 000 and $75 000, respectively.
Kick-off time is 19:00hrs.
