BCB season to bowl off with Berbice Bridge Company 50-overs competition on Saturday

AFTER a long break due to the prolonged inclement weather, the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) 2015 cricket season is set to resume on Saturday.The Berbice Bridge Company 50-overs first division competition will see twelve teams participate in matches starting at 09:30hrs.
The top players in Berbice will be on show with Devendra Bishoo, Veerasammy Permaul, Jonathan Foo and Kandasammy Surujnarine turning out for Albion. Rose Hall Town while Gizmos and Gadgets will have Assad Fudadin, Delbert Hicks, Eon Hooper in their line up.
Pacers Keon Joseph and Raun Joseph are in the West Berbice team with the Hetmyer brothers, Shimron and Seon playing for Young Warriors.
Port Mourant will be led by Rajiv Ivan and the fast-rising Tucber Park, formerly Bermine, will have a star-studded line-up with pacers Niall Smith and Romario Shepherd and in-form all-rounder brothers Eugene and Joemal LaFleur.
The other clubs also have good players who, if they hold their own, can create major upsets.

Rose Hall Gizmos and Gadgets vs Upper Corentyne
