POLICE yesterday retrieved an unlicensed firearm following the search of a drain in Grove, East Bank Demerara.The find was made at about 01:20 hrs yesterday after ranks of a police mobile patrol in Tank Street, Grove, EBD, observed a man throwing an object into a  nearby drain as they approached. The man managed to escape.
The object was retrieved and found to be an unlicensed .32 pistol with two rounds.
