A PATIENT who delivered a baby last Friday at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) passed away on Monday. 

Reports indicated that Akeisa Richardson was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after experiencing seizures and she was being monitored but subsequently died.
A post-mortem is to be performed to ascertain the cause of death. Meanwhile, the GPHC has extended sincere condolences to the bereaved family.
