FOLLOWING the completion of the three-day tournament last Saturday, teams will switch their attention to the limited overs format in this year’s Guyana Cricket Board/Raj Singh Insurance Inter-county Under-19 tournament, which commences today with two first-round matches.Newly crowned three-day champions Berbice will be looking to continue their winning ways, when they face up against their nemesis Demerara at the Enterprise ground on the East Coast of Demerara, while at the Wales Community Centre ground, Essequibo will take on the National Under-17.
Nolan Hawk, Anwar Baksh and Deon Feassal are the men who will control the action at Wales, while at Enterprise on the East Coast of Demerara, Orwin Archer, Dawchan Nagasar and Chetnarine Persaud will be the officiating umpires.
