Adam said he was amazed to see the plants flourishing at the edge of the foreshore and seawall, while Lall said that after examining the ‘visitors’, he came to the conclusion that they came from either the floor of the Atlantic Ocean or another country. He said he has never seen such a plant growing at Devonshire Castle in all his years living there.
Another resident, a fisherman named ‘Jones’, said the find is very strange to him because he’s never before seen the likes of it on the foreshore.
What is interesting is that Devonshire Castle residents are complaining that the vegetation is posing serious problems to seines that are pinned on the foreshore, and are calling on the relevant authorities to look into the matter.
