THE Guyana Power and Light Inc. (GPL) has said that East Bank Demerara customers from Eccles to Mocha will experience an interruption in the supply of electricity on the days August 6th and August 8th, which is necessary in order to facilitate a safe paratrooping exercise to be conducted by the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) for the Guyana Festival 2014.

The power interruption guide is as follows:

August 6, 2014
Zone: Eccles to Mocha
Time: 16:00hrs to 17:30 hrs

August 8, 2014
Zone: Eccles to Mocha
Time: 16:30hrs to 18:00hrs

GPL, in appealing for understanding from its valued customers in this regard, says it regrets any inconvenience those power interruptions may cause.
