ACTING on information received, police ranks went to a camp in the Sheet Anchor, East Canje Berbice area, at about 14:00 hrs on July 11, 2014, and found one hundred and seventy-eight (178) 12-gauge shotgun cartridges and 4.5 kilogrammes of dried cannabis sativa (marijuana).

Everything was taken into police custody, but two men who were observed running away from the camp as the police ranks approached were not apprehended.

Investigations are in progress.
