Is there some sinister plot afoot?

THERE is a reason the Joint Opposition remains unfazed about the political fallout from the socio-economic consequences of their Budget cuts and non-support of the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (Amended) Bill. And given their track record and propensity for violence, that reason is all too obvious to the discerning, who are aware of the dynamics of the local political fray.

Seemingly, the Joint Opposition is not dependent on the electorate to win for them a victory at the polls in their bid to enter the portals of government, not after making and calling their constituents ‘collateral damage’ in their anti-developmental and destructive behaviour, and their utterances in and out of Parliament; because they are seemingly ready to blast the back door to the Office of the President’s complex wide open, literally and figuratively; and as is being revealed through the Rodney Commission of Inquiry, blasting is their forte.

One remembers a taped conversation between a former Police Commissioner, now PNC/APNU MP, and the Chairman of a certain political Party to cover up that Party’s involvement in mass murder at Agricola, and to plant drugs on an outgoing passenger at Timehri. Obviously, it would be junior ranks who would have been delegated to act on these plans. Given the loyalty of the Joint Services’ ranks to the PNC/APNU, it is hardly likely that this discredited ex-commissioner has relinquished his hold and control of the rogue ranks in the Police Force; and it is not difficult to believe, on recalling the ruthlessness of a plan to plant drugs on someone and callously destroy that person’s life forever, that these Machiavellian strategists are not currently creating the synergies for extra-electoral appropriation of the executive office of government, hence the constant instances of police brutality.

The plot to create racial disturbances by blaming an Indian policeman for baton-raping known felon Colwyn Harding, when the evidence does not corroborate or support such an allegation, did not have the desired effect, so the rogue police have ramped up their destabilisation efforts, and these latest incidences of police torture are cases in point.
The ranks were either paid off, or probably expected a cut of the payout after being promised legal representation by lawyers who have no qualms about jury tampering or producing false witnesses. There are rumours afloat, with some credibility based on factual occurrences, that a certain political party, historically known for creating murder and mayhem, is inducing very young supporters into drug usage and criminality to support the consequential addiction so as to create an army similar to the Buxton and Agricola “freedom fighters” of the likes of ‘Skinny Charles’ and ‘Fine Man’, among others.

Police ranks who are tempted to opportunistically and blindly fall in line with the evil plans of the diabolical political strategists, who, after the fact, offer false sympathy to the victim and their families, and generate much publicity to boost their egomania, discover too late that they are destroying their own lives to feed the power hunger and the egos of crazily evil people. This as has been found out, too late, by the rank who poured methylated spirits on the hands of a 19-year-old suspect and then set them alight at the Sparendaam Police Station. Hence the aberrant police officer got the father of the teen to sign a document acknowledging receipt of $100,000, which was handed over to the father by that policeman in hope that consequences of his actions would be averted.

Mischief is afoot, and not merely in the Police Force; because the rogue cops, like the young drug-crazed criminals, are mere pawns of diabolical players in a deadly game in which the country is the stake and the nation is merely ‘collateral damage.’
