JUSTICE Diane Inshanally has warned jurors in-waiting at the Berbice Assizes to return to their workplace instead of going home or visiting other places.

The warning comes in light of the incident in which a young woman from the Demerara jurisdiction lost her job after she failed to return to her workplace after court had been adjourned.
Justice Inshanally noted that, “the incident had put us in a difficult position, and I wish there are no recurrences.”
“You are expected to return to court on January 13 when the State is expected to be prepared with another matter.”
