CHIEF Justice Mr Ian Chang, SC, yesterday granted seven petitioners a total of $1.455M bail pending determination of their cases. Particulars follow:For possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking, John Baptist was granted $175,000 bail; Abdool Razif Raleel was granted $100,000 bail; Ion Smith was granted $500,000 bail, and Dexter Griffith, $400,000 bail.
For simple larceny, Bharrat Sankar was granted $30,000 bail; whilst for the offence of break & enter and larceny, Syad Rahaman Ali was granted $150,000 bail, and Laris La Rose $100,000 bail.
