SARAH Abel, of Lot 126 West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, was placed on a total of $20,000 bail Monday on charges of stealing cookies, turkey, ham and assaulting employees at Bounty Farm, also in the city. The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge that said, on Wednesday, December 4, at Bounty Farm Limited, Water Street, she stole one tin of cookies and a pack of turkey ham, together valued $4,382.
She also denied that, on the same day, she assaulted Michelle Pollard and Devon Tappin, two employees of Bounty Farm.
Police Corporal Bharat Mangru, prosecuting, did not object to bail and the case will be called, again, on January 14.
