POLICE are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Manford Lewis of South Sophia, Georgetown, who succumbed after being rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPHC) with gunshot injuries to the head and shoulder.

The injuries were reportedly sustained at about 00.30 hrs on Friday (September 27) when a fight erupted at a gambling den on Mandela Avenue, in the vicinity of the London Base Taxi Service.
 
No one has so far been arrested, but police investigations are in progress.
