ACTING Chief Justice Mr. Ian Chang, SC, on Friday granted bail totalling $6,080,000 to the following 18 petitioners pending trials for the offences listed against their names.

For possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking, Nadira Coopchand was granted $175,000 bail; Christopher Domdan was granted $220,000 bail; Recardo Chester, $200,000 bail; Ragendra Bishram,$100,000 bail; O’Brion Whyte, $1,000,000 bail; Adrian David, $1,000,000 bail; Marc Angel, $250,000 bail; Melissa Muir, $600,000 bail; and Cliff Green, $600,000 bail.

For trafficking in persons, Candacy Anderson was granted $350,000 bail, and Menveon McLennon, $100,000 bail.

For receiving stolen property, Patrick Wilson was granted $300,000 bail; Orin Bacchus, $100,000 bail, and Omda Williams, $75,000 bail.

For causing death by dangerous driving, Anil Doobay was granted $500,000 bail.

For attempting to pervert the course of justice, Odel Persaud was granted $300,000 bail.

For escaping from lawful custody, Akeem Wong was granted $150,000 bail.

And for abusive language, throwing missiles, and for threatening language, Edwin Myles was granted $60,000 bail.
