I REFER to the article titled,  ‘AFC wants GEA thoroughly investigated…Ram should be awarded the Ordre of Excellence – Ramjattan’ in the Sept 12 edition of Kaieteur News.

I noted with amusement, Mr Ramjattan singing Mr Ram praises and even recommending he be conferred with an Order of Excellence award! I am amused because if Mr Ramjattan felt so strongly about the contributions of Mr Ram to the development of this country and if he feels that Mr. Ram continues to make a worthy contribution in the future, Mr. Ramjattan has the ability and power at this point in time to reward Mr. Ram!
Why wait until you become President Mr Ramjattan? Why don’t you, a purported man of action, confer upon Mr Ram, one of the AFC’s seats in parliament, taking into account Mr Ram’s desire to be relevant in the politics of Guyana and in light of your confession that you understand nothing about accounting?
Your recent recommendation is just as laughable as is your understanding of the national budget!
