THAT there is a dire need for a fully professional staffed investment bank in Guyana cannot be disputed. It is a crying shame, perhaps even criminal that the needs are becoming more desperate to those young authentic enterprising entrepreneurs who cannot find the type of financing to greatly help with their ventures.

This area will play an important and substantial role in pushing further and faster the economic development of the country. It must be noted that China has adopted a very aggressive drive in extending massive amounts of funding for various projects and my appeal goes out for urgent consideration towards the establishment of an investment bank.

These are very good reasons for China to consider favourably, such a proposal. Only good will eventuate amongst the people of this country.
