Baksh Travel Service makes donation to BCCC

THE BLAIRMONT Centre Cricket Club (BCCC) has recently received support from Baksh Travel Service (BTS) for its 2013 proposed projects which would target youths, the elderly and the less fortunate.Officer-in-Charge of BTS, Maria Baksh, handed over a cheque for $50 000 and uniforms to the members of the BCCC at a small presentation ceremony held at its office. Ms Baksh stated, “We are pleased to be associated with the club and the team’s performance over the years has been rapidly growing. We are proud to support activities that keep youths away from social ills.” She  expressed confidence in BCCC and challenged the members of the club to maintain their high level of performance.
Angad Ganesh, first vice-president of BCCC, expressed gratitude to BTS for continued confidence in the club.
He said through the support coming from the business, numerous players such as Deveshwari Prashad, Waqar Hassan, Permanand Ramdhan, Nick Ramsaroop, Kevon Jawahir, Derick Narine, Avishkar Sewkarran, Rameshwar Somwaru and Zaheer Inshan have been elevated to Berbice and Guyana team and assured that all donations will be used for the intended purpose.
