TWO Bent Street, Georgetown, women, charged with assaulting each other, were put on bail Thursday and bonded, pending their return before Magistrate Ann Mc Lennan.
Both defendants Natasha Pollydore and Denecia Loncke denied having assaulted one another on Saturday, June 29, at Lot XXX Bent Street.
Attorney-at-Law Mr. Paul Fung-a-Fat, who represented Loncke, said the women had problems with their landlord.
The lawyer said, after the man had locked Loncke out of her apartment, an issue arose between she and Pollydore, resulting in a report that the latter had thrown water into the face of the former.
The defendants were each ordered to post $5,000 surety and be back for trial July 25.
