A NINETEEN-YEAR-OLD woman has been charged with spitting on the head of a fellow tenant. Timeka Adams, of Lot 47 Norton Street, Lodge, Georgetown, who is alleged to have committed the offence last May 14, appeared before Magistrate Fabayo Azore yesterday.
Particulars of the charge said Adams spat on Claretta Eastman, who resides at the same address and the former pleaded guilty.
Attorney-at-law Mr. Paul Fung-a-Fat, who represented Adams, said the two women were having problems with the other people in their flat.
He said, Adams, who is resident in the upper storey, pushed her head out of her window and spat and some of it fell on Eastman’s head.
The magistrate asked Adams if she had anything further to say and the latter said she was sorry.
Adams was then put on a bond to keep the peace for one year.
