Comedy King ‘Mr. Brown’ heads to Guyana for May 19 engagement

OVER the years, the popular comedy icon ‘Mr. Brown’ has become more than a household name on the tongues of Guyanese, who remain glued to their television sets whenever his shows are being aired.

altWe have had our bellies full of laughter at his funny theatrics and esteemed ability to ‘lighten our lives’ with hilarious and so very comical character, but now Guyanese will have a chance to see Mr. Brown and members of his cast in their own backyard when the Kingdom Dynamics entity brings the ‘King of Comedy’ to the National Park on Sunday, May 19, 2013.
And fans are warned to strap up their stomachs real good, because this show rocks with ‘mirthful fantasia’. Dubbed ‘After Laugh is Cry’, this comedy-laced masterpiece is a dual-coined phrase connoting the devastating effects of domestic violence and the high possibility of enjoying one of the funniest and most entertaining occasions.
In a brilliantly interwoven manner, this production suggests that laughter, happiness and lots of merriment preceded the epidemic of ‘Domestic Violence’. The production is fashioned not only to provide answers, but preventative measures.

And it’s a good thing to note that the Ministry of Human Services and Social Security, and by extension the Government of Guyana, has signed on in a great way and will give support to ensure success of the production.
Guyanese are urged to bring out the entire family to an event that is sure to evoke wanton laughter. Come on, folks; when last did you laugh till tears streamed down your cheeks? Hmmmmmmmm?

altCome see part of the cast of ‘Meet the Browns’ perform live on stage as they unleash the captivating presence and talents of David and Tamela Mann, and others in standup comedy and singing. They will, of course, team up with some of Guyana’s hottest artistes to provide answers to the dilemma of domestic violence existing in our society.
Adult VIP tickets are set at $10,000., while each kid’s price is set at $3000. That aside, stage front adult tickets are set at $5000, with tickets for children at $2000 each. Regular tickets for adults will be sold for $2,500., and children would be charged just $1000. A percentage of the proceeds from this event will go towards helping the Ministry of Human Services in its fight against domestic violence.
This event is sponsored by Rainbow Fashions, the Government of Guyana, HJTV, and Kingdom Dynamics. Kingdom Dynamics is indeed bringing core values to families, and this is certainly affirmed, since ‘After Cry is Laugh’ is presented by the legendary Mr. David Mann, more popularly known as ‘Mr. Brown’. He is a stage actor, gospel singer, and stand-up comedian who starred in many Tyler Perry plays, including I can do bad all by Myself, Madea’s Family Reunion, Meet the Browns, Madea’s Class Reunion, and What’s done in the Dark.

He reprised his role as Mr. Brown in the Tyler Perry sitcom The Browns, Tyler Perry’s Madea goes to Jail, and in Madea’s Big Happy Family.
Mr Mann is extremely talented, and is indeed a multifaceted actor. This very funny and hilarious character is a world renowned actor and award winner for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series (Meet the Browns)
Kingdom Dynamics must certainly be commended, since their major objective is to bring core values to families countrywide. This very prestigious group comprises several artistic and gifted individuals who each desires to see the family structure and its values restored to their original state.
