THE Guyana Manufacturing and Services Association (GMSA), in association with the Private Sector Commission (PSC), have issued an open invitation to local technician-type persons to participate in a number of fully sponsored training programmes in China.
The courses cover television and radio broadcasting, bamboo and edible mushroom technologies, and environmentally-friendly fertilizer production. They are each of 42 to 56 days duration and are being conducted in the Chinese capital Beijing and the developed provinces of HangZhou, Guangzhou and Fuzhou.
They are scheduled to commence on May 6 and 15(bamboo technology & TV b/casting), July 17 (radio b/casting) and October 15, 2013 (fertilizer production). The courses which are conducted annually form part of the Chinese government’s strategies to contribute to the development of countries in the Caribbean region and elsewhere in the Third World.
