CSEC students to benefit from Television Literature Programmes

THE Guyana Telephone and Telegraph (GT&T) Company has presented the entire “Know Your Stuff” literature competition series to the Guyana Learning Channel to be broadcast weekdays at 19:00hrs. The literature programmes are an important means of helping students preparing to write the CSEC exams, as they will serve as a reminder and help to reinforce their school work.
The DVDs were handed over at the National Centre for Education Resource Development (NCERD), Kingston, to Head of the Guyana Learning Channel/ Multimedia United, Dr. Seeta Shah Roath, by Public Relations Officer at GT&T, Allison Parker.
The Know your Stuff Literature programmes will be very beneficial to the Guyana Learning Channel’s line-up, as the channel is the ideal medium to broadcast the content as its signal reaches the interior locations.
Dr Shah-Roath thanked the phone company for its donation.
The Know Your Stuff programme focus on Shakespearean plays and other literature content on the CSEC syllabus, and is a collaborative effort with GuyEnterprise, GT&T, and the Education Ministry. (GINA)
