After the presentations, BVA Treasurer Godwyn Allicock, who also served as the competition coordinator, thanked Mark Bhikai, Berbice Regional Manager of Ansa McAl, for sponsoring the competition with high expectations that next year’s competition will be bigger and better.
Meanwhile, the next event on the BVA calendar is a “B” Division Competition which is slated for April 21 at the Eaglets Volleyball Court in Reliance, East Canje.
The competition is for newcomers, school teams and players who are past their prime. Berbice’s top teams (PMTC1 and PM Jags) as well as players who represented Guyana last year, and participated in the Tradewinds Tanker Tournament are debarred.
