Man shot after attending church fellowship service

MOHAMMED Nageer, 39, a supervisor at Fogarty’s store in Georgetown, was shot by two men at the corner of Lamaha Street and Vlissengen Road, on Wednesday night.

He had just disembarked a mini-bus on the way to his Newtown home, after attending a fellowship service at the First Assembly of God Church, in D’Urban Street, Wortmanville, also in Georgetown.
Other persons at his place of employment were shocked by news of the incident and were making efforts to visit the wounded man and ascertain his condition.
But, up to press time yesterday, no information could be had,not even from the police.
