THREE more teams will face expulsion today when the Petra/Milo Under-20 Schools Football Competition’s knockout round, resumes with a triple-header at the Ministry of Education (MoE) ground.
Action gets under way at 12:00hrs between Charlestown Secondary and Tutorial High. Following that, Lodge Secondary meet Carmel Secondary from 13:50hrs then the day wraps up with New Campbellville Secondary going head-to-head with Chase’s Academy at 15:45hrs.
The knockout round commenced on Thursday at the same venue with a doubleheader that saw Christ Church and Queen’s College crash out after they lost to Richard Ishmael Secondary and St George’s High respectively.
In the first match on Thursday, Richard Ishmael mauled Christ Church 5-1 with goals for the eventual winners coming from Ryan Stanton (15th), Trevon Tucker (22nd), Ronald Dover (36th), Shaka Browne (53rd) and Kristoff Watts (57th). Travis Fitzpatrick scored Christ Church’s lone goal in the 31st minute.
In the other match, St George’s demolished Queen’s College and kept a clean sheet in the process. Goals were scored by Sean Taylor (16th), Royston Dublin (33rd), Adilka George (30th), Jummer Small (70th and Neil Cameron (87th). Those players accounted for the 5-0 whipping.
Meanwhile, tomorrow three more matches will be contested as Tucville challenge North Ruimveldt at 12:00hrs South Ruimveldt battle North Georgetown at 13:50hrs and Bishops’ High tackle Dolphin Secondary from 15:45hrs.
